In case anyone wants to mark this sort of thing, the GPS coordinates I pulled:
The Squeeze 33.0494811, -116.3117908
Rock Garden/Window Smasher 33.050568, -116.303450
Heart Attack Hill 33.049100, -116.300161
I had a hard time finding these anywhere and it was hard to guess based on satellite photos.

Yes, they are Cucurbita palmata. Coyote Melons or Coyote Gourds. Same family as pumpkins and squash. Looks like the coyotes already ate those ones...

I think we were set up to fail from the get-go. Compare how many rocks were stacked on the passenger side in all the other YouTube videos:

To when we showed up:

And we all got passenger side damage. Pro Tip: Stack them rocks!

Great footage Paul, I stitched everything I had together into a 26 minute video. Had to speed up some of the out and back stuff but it’s super pretty out there so I didn’t want to skip anything

Somehow the window survived. My current plan is to look for a soft top and learn fiberglass repair as a new skill to fix the hard top.
@Craigger I’ve got a soft top that you can have. It’s all there and works fine, but some of the material that holds it to the internal ribs are separated. I’m 2 hours east of you.

Wow - that is more than generous. I have a line on a new top at a significant discount from another forum member (who practically lives next door) so I'm going to go down that route but thank you so much for the offer!

There’s a nice guy named Kevin from the gladiator forums who came with us who would likely go with you. He saw me go through the squeeze, kindly shook my hand and said this isn’t for me, I’m not ready for this yet. Then he turned around and left.

I get the fact that nobody wants to spend 50k plus on a rig and tear it up. But at the same time a hundred dollar fender was well worth the trip for me.
