That's not a permanent bypass though. Looking for something that let's you connect to the obd port so i don't have to remove a cable when going to the dealer

@WannFly thanks, that's what I figured and have researched is the cable, but there are allusions to the use of the Tazer SGW cable, however it will NOT plug into the OBDLink MX+. If I have the Tazer cable and plug it in (to leave it plugged in and tucked up under the dash) do I then need the cable that you linked to plug into my Tazer SGW cable or can I then plug into the OBD port? It seems as though I would then need the cable you linked and unplug one end of my Tazer SGW cable and plug the second cable to that and then the OBDLink?

The SWG cable extension you got from Tazer people, is just an extension cable that brings the SWG ports down to an accessible place so that you dont get bloody every time you need to take tazer out of the vehicle.

I dont know if any of these will work on the ODB port, I never even tried it.

Technically, you can use the SWG cable from Tazer people that you have, it will sit there dangling and do nothing.

Buy the cable I had linked, plug the MX+ to that, the other end connects the actual SWG cables. Use JScan.

when you take it to the dealership
1. remove the MX+ and the cable I linked
2. Connect the SWG cable to the previously dangling SWG extension (helps with mental health and physical bruises, since you just extended the actual port down to a very accessible area).
