"Performance Limited" Error code

My 22 Jeep has cut completely off while in drive twice and once while in reverse with this message… I got this car brand new and I’ve only had it for 6 weeks

So mine was basically totally cut off too and it was the fuel pump and some other parts like lines were replaced. I get my Jeep back next week after a month and a week of being in the shop I will post the full parts replacement list on the forum and update you if the issue is fixed for me

Definitely interested in hearing what all gets replaced. This message comes up for me occasionally on deceleration, but it has never impacted drivability. Would like to know if it’s just a glitch or something I should be more concerned with.

UPDATE 8/1/22…. Took my Jeep to the dealership and it cut off again for the 4th time, while driving into the garage. They ran a diagnostic test. The results said its the fuel pump not communicating with the vehicle.

This is what I was afraid of, I don't think I'm alone with the bad fuel pump I feel like this is the issue some just have it worse then others.

2022 JLUR 2.0 Auto. 5500mi. Just got this error for the first time on my commute to work today doing steady 50mph on the highway. Came on for 10 seconds or so. Got it a 2nd time after about another 10 mins passed.

Just changed the oil for the 2nd time 40 miles ago.

Currently have 93 octane in the tank but usually run 87.

Will be watching this thread.. thanks for all of your input so that we have a resource to reference.

Okay major update** Jeep replaced my high pressure fuel pump and my censor on the fuel rail, replaced my turbo gasket and fuel lines and after a month and a half of waiting it's still broken getting 200 reading for pressure when it should be around 1100... I demanded a new vehicle and now am in the process of getting a brand new Jeep through my dealer since mine is fu@ked at only 2000km. They have no clue what this error means what's causing it and how to fix it yet. Tech line international and my dealer have been on this for a month and a half still no idea what's wrong.

I got this message a week ago. It happened twice a few minutes apart both times on deceleration. I had just gotten off the highway and was on a 40-50 mph road with stop lights.

It hasn't happened since and I didn't experience any driveability issues. Just wanted to add my experience. Waiting for Jeep to come up with a fix.

Just got my car back today from the dealership and I didnt even make it home before it cut completely off again with the same message. They claimed they replaced the fuel pump and something else on my jeep. Idk whats going on but i purchased car jeep brand new in June and the dealership has had in longer than i have.

Oh also I forgot to add I told them I wanted the 3.6 Pentastar motor in my replacement and that's what I got. Clearly some bad run of parts in these 2.0t's that they havnt figured out yet. I sense a recall at some point.

I’ve had it happen twice - both times I was braking from 45+ speeds. I’m only on my second tank of gas (first that I purchased and I got Premium from Costco). No other performance issues that I’ve noticed, though… I just figured this one was as much of a diva as my last Jeep…

editing to say this is a 2.0 JLUR with less than 600 miles on it…

Just had this happen to me on my brand new 2022 JLUR XR 2.0T with only 350 miles on the ODO. Was coming down a slight grade, and made a somewhat fast stop, and noticed the message pop up as I was slowing down.

For some reason my MPG has also tanked into the 13.6 range over the past 20 or so miles.

Kate, I think people are looking for a post to the general forum so they can bring the information to their dealer and get serviced properly. This is dangerous when you are on the freeway and basically nothing happens when you press the gas. Please post the information you are able to obtain so we can bring it to the dealer.

Just had this happen to me on my brand new 2022 JLUR XR 2.0T with only 350 miles on the ODO. Was coming down a slight grade, and made a somewhat fast stop, and noticed the message pop up as I was slowing down.

For some reason my MPG has also tanked into the 13.6 range over the past 20 or so miles.

Same with my 22 Rubicon, usually happens when slowing down or doing down hill. Started on trip home from dealership with 8 miles. Now have 6,500 & more worried. Mpg isn't close to what other members are getting. I have appt in few wks. See what they say
