Ordered online and receive a oil filter with different part number than the past. I usually use 68191349AC with 2017 trademark, but this time it is 68191349WB with 2024 trademark. They look the same. Looked up mopar online but didn't find vehicle fitment info. Wonder whether it is compatible to 2023 Pentastar engine and what's the meaning of AC vs WB?
Thanks

The cynic seasoned observer in me says that Stellantis is making the filter more porous to flow better. You know, to get more oil up to those disintegrating rocker arms, in an effort to get rocker failure out past the warranty period..

Or maybe these new ones are sourced from India, because they're cheaper than the other ones that came from China. Or...

I could make shit up all day, because I don't know. But what I am certain of, it's because Stellantis figured out how to squeeze a few more pennies out of each one. Because it's Stellantis, and they're damned sure not updating the part number because they're making a higher quality filter.

The two letter appendage at the end of the part number signifies the revision number. It is functionally identical.
