    Saw a few JL and JT on dealer's lot. At least two of them have the electronic trailer brake connection port, but without trailer hitch receiver. I think both have the aux switches in the cabin. Does this mean the aux switches are ready to be connected? How much work to install the hitch receiver...

    The JLUR with 6MT and 3.6V6 starts at $49,785 MSRP now. A couple of years ago it was around $45K or so, not to mention the heavy discount then. The affordability has gone way done.

    How is the durability of MP3022 transfer case given the power and torque from the 392? Isn't it the same unit in Jeep Liberty? Not everyone needs or wants full time 4WD. It may be desirable to have RockTrac as an option.

    Thanks for the info. I played with the online configurator in June but didn't find it available. I understand it is a tool more or less for existing inventory. Was it available when ordering through the dealer?

    Costco gas isn't known for best MPG. Shell and Chevron gas are better in terms of mileage. They cost more, but longer range per tank is worth it when doing long road trips. BTW, 30K miles for road trips are a lot for a year. We did 20K miles visiting Yellowstone, Pacific Northwest and Florida...
