Made an appointment to see if the bubbling up of my paint is covered under the extended warranty on my 2019 JLU. It expired for the paint 2 years ago. The dealer is going to submit it to Chrysler. I don't have a good feeling about this. My husband days trade it! Not happening, he's retired and I was just forced to retire.

It's on all 4 doors around the edges below the door handle, on the hinges on the hood and the doors, on the hood just above the headlights.

Unfortunately, most of those are going to require full panel replacement. Check your extended warranty for any verbiage about corrosion. If it isn't covered, IMO get rid of it before it spreads or accept that it is going to look a bit rusty around the edges in the future but don't worry since Wranglers can get away with still looking good with scratches, dents, and/or rust.

Why does it matter? What do you think is going to happen?

Wow, bad bad bad.
Two options, maybe three., possibly four.
1. Pray your extended warranty repairs it.
2. Live with the corrosion.
3. Disassemble, sand and coat the entire Wrangler with Bedliner of choice.
4. Sell it and take a big hit.

I'm not sure what you're asking?
Why are you worried about it? Vanity, resale value, structural integrity? If it’s on your own dime, it’s just not worth doing.

I'm worried about it because I just became retired not my choice and I don't plan on trading it in but want to keep it, can't afford the cost of repainting it, not VANITY!

My 2019 has some on the hinges. It has not changed in the last 2 years. I am not worried about it.

That’s not answering the question really. Why do you think it needs to be fixed?

No need to disavow vanity. If i want a product i paid for to not look shit so what
Most of the things we do with our jeeps are for vanity. It’s not a bad thing, spend money wherever you like.
