Own an extra High Amp Fuse Array

You know one of these. Mopar Part Number: 68368854AA.

I'm thinking, with all the people I hear of on the forum blowing one of its fuses, and given that when you do, you have to replace to whole fuse array, (but NOT the Power Distribution Center (PDC)) that maybe I ought to carry, or at least have one of these in my garage.

Feel free to add any additional spare parts you think JL owners ought to have. Obvious items like windshield wipers need not apply here.

I believe you should always carry spare fuses in a vehicle. That the fuses are in the form of this array doesn't change that. I carry a spare array.

There is a spare, it is built in. When you stupidly damage the fuse array while changing batteries, you can use the other post until you get a replacement the next day.

Is this fuse array the same one that comes with the tow package/HD electrical option or is it specifically for the standard electrical system?

Thanks...I saw this before, but the problem is that when the dealership looks up parts specific to my VIN, it actually shows three different fuse arrays (including those in the thread above) and they can't tell me which one is correct. I thought that parts are now referenced to a specific VIN in order to avoid this sort of confusion....guess not!

For about $20 total, you can pick up a few fuses and make your own emergency spare.

Connect one end to the PDC power feed and connect the other to the blown fuse stud. Much quicker, and no chance of wasting $60-$80 bucks on a fuse array if it blows right away.
