FYI - the towing package DOES NOT guarantee that you have the 100A version of the fuse array. My 2019 Rubicon has the "Trailer Tow and HD Electrical Group" option, and it had the 60A version. I discovered it when I replaced it with the 100A version.

I just made sure I matched the serial number when ordering a new one to the one I pulled out. 8853AA

Hmmm...the one in my photo is a 8853AA and it is a 60A. I bought two 100A fuses (one for a spare) because I plan to change my fan to a Gladiator model which requires 100A.

The 100A array is part number 68368854AA

Good idea! I just remember someone advising me to match the numbers as one did have a higher amp. I guess that makes sense since you’re upgrading the fan tho. Have you already installed it? Any issues?

If you have the tow package you would want the high amp fuse array with the 100 amp fan fuse. Probably because of supply chain issues some JL's with tow package inadvertently left the factory with the incorrect high amp fuse array.

Yes; it has been installed since 11 June with zero issues and it is 100% plug and play.

True; but just a note to remind everyone not to assume, but to verify if needed. I bought my Jeep before the COVID madness/supply chain junk happened, yet, FCA hosed up the fuze size.

A this fuse a ray cause issue like, messages on display?

Service shifter
Auto park disabled
Service electronic stability control
“No Bus” flashing in bottom of display panel
Speed and tach needles bouncing
Will Not shift, in limp mode, only able to get to 5-10mph

all this popped up after they found a bad chaffed wire that lead to the canbus and they fixed that splicing it back together.

Jeep has been in out of shop the last few months. They did replace the main battery, I don’t have an auxiliary battery.

Why not just go with the 100 amp array on all, when you need to replace any?

So my 202 JLUR 6sp w tow package has the 53aa. Getting the start stop service light @!
Batteries are good, all fuses check out. Going insane and finding this little fact has me spinning.

The start stop service light can indicate that the stop/start system has been disable due to issues with other systems like engine misfires. Do you ever get a CEL and have you ever used a scanner to check for error codes?

No check engine light, everything seems normal otherwise. Awaiting the scanner. At this point more peeved about the wrong fuse being used when built.
