Where is the sensor for measuring the outdoor temps? Mine always seems to be way off. I’m wondering if location of the sensor is the issue.

The outside temperature sensor on a Jeep JL is located in front of the radiator, at the top, and to the driver's side.

Is it behind the grill? I’m not finding it. I’m looking near the horn and headlights.

I've noticed that the temperature doesn't seem to update when you're in 4lo.
I seem to recall seeing somewhere that you have to be going above a certain speed for a certain amount of time for the display to update- maybe to prevent false high readings from slow going? Mine doesn't update either when wheeling slow.

We spent the last few days wheeling in Moab and I just thought the Jeep was telling a little fib so we wouldn’t leave the trail because it was too hot.
