EDIT: Oracle did reach out and offered me a pretty good discount on a new set. I am considering it but I would like to come up with a way to weather proof them a bit better. On the drivers side for instance, there is a massive hole right behind tire that dumbs right in where the light sits. Not an Oracle problem but a Jeep problem but needs to be addressed nonethless.
EDIT 2. I went to site and the pricing was better......for some reason it was showing $800 on my phone but on PC the pricing wasnt far off from introductory pricing with the discount that Oracle gave me. I will be ordering a new pair, tinted this time. Thanks @ORACLElights !
Let me start by saying I absolutely love the Oracle Flush Mount tail lights. I also havent reached out to them as I am out of warranty regardless.
I JUST mentioend in a thread that mind have been flawless for 2 year, of course. Through 2 shitty Canadian winters. (of course I did)
So, my right side stopped blinking. Disconnecting and reconnecting fixes the prblem tempararily but unfortunately, when it happens, there is no error code, I have to get out and see if its working. It basically needs to be reset daily, and if youve taking your taisl out, you knowwhat that involves. Not hard but a PIA.
Then the left side blind spot sensor stopped working. Fault follows it to the passenger side so its either the sensor or more likely the Oracle harness. OEM lights are going back in tonight.
Taking off the Oracles there is a lot of corrosion on all of the supplied hardware and retainers on the Oracles. Just to get the blind spot sensors out, I am going have to drill out the supplied screws as they were busting the heads off when new and will definitely do it again tonight.
I would just buy another set, they are that good, except I paid $339 US for them on release (I forget discount from 22 months ago) and now they're literally double the price. ($612 US) While I love them and all my other Oracle products, I cant justify that kind of money for just under 2 years of use when the warranty is only good for 1 year.
Again, I havent reached out to them as it theyre out of warranty and I fully understand the "mod tax". Just a bit disapointed that they didnt last longer.
In saying that, I have a friend in my neighbourhood who has had his just as long and doesnt have any issues. On delivery mine were wired wrong so Oracle talked me through reseating pins, not sure if that "broke a seal" or not.
Anyway, I will keep an eye out for a good sale on them as I do love them, just not at that price point/longevity. I personally thing they're better suited for a dry climate for sure.
Also, Oracle is a great company to deal with notwithstanding. @JP_Oracle was who I did my troubleshooting with when I first received the miswired ones and he was a huge help.
