Offset Help

Buying a 20x9 with a 35x12.5
This is for a 2021 Jeep Sahara stock suspension.

suspension is not my concern as I can always do a lift if needed.

My main concern is what offset if I’m looking for 1” to 1.5” maximum from flare?

I was thinking 0 but my garage is saying -12.. doesn’t make sense... then another garage is saying +2 but that seems to be flush...

about to spend $6k and really concerned.

help me decide fellow JL owners!!!

I run 8.5 +10 w/ my 295s and here's the fender poke. I entered my setup vs your 35x12.5x18 on a zero offset and here's what it listed, about 3/4" further out from mine. I
think I'd go zero if you can. And use this site for any wheel/tire set you plan to run, works great!

Not sure of your original size, but I plugged in your new wheel and tire size with 0 offset.

I actually proceeded with the following:
20x9 with a 35x11.5 (instead of 12.5) with a 0 offset..

www.wheelsize.com really helped especially when taking aphid of one wheel set up and doing a comparison. Much appreciated on @blnewt

According to the site the wheel will poke out 1/4 more than your vehicle which is fine..

Will post once when I can..

Glad it worked out and should be a nice setup, either of those wheel size sites get the job done, always nice to have those visual tools to help ease your mind

Hey guys.. Finally installed my wheel set.. Went with a 35 by 11.5 and a +3 offset on 20's with no lift..
