“Connectivity” is just the (groan) way things are done nowadays. And if it’s a satellite connection it needs to display GPS coordinates, my iPhone can do that even in “airplane mode” in even the remotest corners that Ive hiked. If it doesn’t make sense why they set it up this way, than the answer is simply because it’s cheaper for the company to do it that way. I think they call it LEAN productivity management.. At least I love my Jeep. I can always paste a photo of my good looking gal in the 8.4 screen window.Yeah, I'm not really sure of why they would do it that way. I mean, it reads sensors that are physically located on the Jeep and other than coordinate data, I can't think of a reason it needs to be "connected" at all.
