No these will not allow the windshield to be foldedAny that work with the windshield down?
Thanks for your quick response! Given your experience with making these, do you think it is possible to have cowl lights that do not interfere with the folding of the windshield? No these will not allow the windshield to be folded
You're welcome. The only way you could have pod mounts not interfere with the ability to fold down the windshield would be to have them mounted on the side of the jeep so they clear the windshield as it folds down so they would stick out past the sides of the jeepThanks for your quick response! Hi, I am planning to install LED bar and cube lights this weekend on my automatic Rubicon JL. Were you able to figure out how to pass the wires through the firewall from the driver side? I have read there is a plug under the hood and then also on automatic JL there is a way to pass through a plug on the extreme left of footwell (where clutch is in manual). Not sure what is the best option to run the wires. So I took a look and think I've found where to wire through the firewall. Under the hood on the driver's side there is a plastic cap.
Here's the view of the cap from the driver's side footwell. I haven't tried taking it off as I'm not quite sure how it works. Any ideas?
I also found a wire with an open connector in the footwell area as well. Any idea what this would be for?
