OEM Wrangler air compressor in tailgate.

Bought the whole kit, have it installed except for the wiring in the fuse box. The instructions show taking the fuse box apart and adding a sense circuit but there must be a way to decode it that some one without the factory manual can understand.

It's just a single red wire (I'm looking at the instructions)? From the looks, it's simply an IGN 12V+ lead to fire a relay to allow the compressor to run. Depending on if there's a parasitic load, you could connect it to any power source you want, including the battery positive terminal (behind a fuse) to make it always on.

That's kind of what I thought but didn't try it.
