From factory, the JL halos turn on when you start the vehicle. For this build, I wired the halos to the cigarette lighter fuse so they operate as they should. I will be tapping into the BCM with this next JL and plan to activate using the Tazer. Just be aware you will need a module to make the low beam/ high beam operate correctly. You can contact me for adapters and modules. Everything is plug and play

Same thing I did. Wired right into the cigarette lighter fuse. Works perfect. Haven't done the tazer yet. But the dealership fixed the low/high for me

What's your adapter like for tapping into the BCM? I thought with a flash or tazer we would no longer need a module to make low/high beams work properly.

to make the high beams work properly, you don't need a flash or Tazer. I have a module to fix that issue.
Yes, If you tap into the fuse panel, that works perfectly but is not to factory specs. In my opinion, I would prefer to wire the halos right as if they came from the dealership. Then working with Tazer, we can enable through the BCM. I have not tapped into the BCM yet, I plan to work on that next week when I get another JL to play with. I have a shop in NY

I much prefer having the halos hooked up to the BCM like factory but for now our only solution is a fuse tap.

Can't wait to see what you come up with!

On a side note. You folks think now that I updated the computer for the LED package. I can run the tazer without interfering w/it? Not sure if they've gotten to the headlights yet.....

$95. He said anything they change in the computer would always run me 95. I wanna push my luck & see if they can remove or lower my TPMS haha. This was Cerritos Dodge & Jeep. Did they specify why not? I would've gone with the Tazer but before I purchased it, I emailed the manufacturer & asked if he has gotten to the lights or is planning too, he replied & said he was "working on that as we speak".
No problem.
You're probably in the realm with a few visits of just purchasing a Tazer JL with a few $95 buck visits to the dealer. Worth consideration as you can change your lighting, TPMS alarms, and a load of other things with the Tazer vs wasting your money @ the dealer. Just some thoughts.
