Hey guys! Been thinking about relocating the oem horns but I have a couple of questions. Where’s there a proven (so thieves can’t EASILY cut or altogether rip the wires off) feasible place to put them? Is there an existing wire(s) extender that I can just plug-n-play or is it just a splice job? Thanks.

If your 2024 is like my 2019 there is quite a bit of wiring length for the horns. I relocated mine onto my PCM bracket right by the washer fluid tank as part of my supercharger install.

I extended the wires. Put the wires in a wire loom cover and put the horns behind my Rock Hard bumper.
Also removed the small grills that is lightly glued to the horns making them a lot louder. They pop right off.

I'm leaving the OEM horns in place. I am wiring a set of Flamm 80SX's in the engine compartment that will get the factory wiring instead of the OEM horns. After I will just run a set of wires to the OEM mounted horns. To make it appear as though they're still hooked up. So if and when a potential thief thinks they're cutting the horns out of the alarm, they'll be in for a little surprise when the alarm still goes off, all loud and proud.

Following. On my previous vehicle (Tacoma), the horns were mounted to just a thin tab of bent-over sheet metal in front of the radiators. On a long section of high speed washboard in Death Valley, one of those bent tab broke off, the horn fell against the A/C condenser and punctured it. Major pain in the ass (and expense).

The mounts on the Jeep don’t seem much stronger. Would prefer to relocate the horns out of harm’s way entirely.

If you feel that you have to even think about this, it is time to move.
Doesn't matter where you live these days. These thieves travel to get specific vehicles. Jeeps, sadly, are still high on that list. Spend a few bucks and make it more difficult for these thieves, or just hand them the keys.

My thoughts exactly. They’re CAR thieves. I’m sure they’re not saying “We shouldn’t steal this Jeep here. This is a nice neighborhood. Let’s try that Jeep in the sketchy part of town…”

One would only have to ask why air tags and the likes have become so popular? And why cell phones are adding the security checker for such devices. They don't even have to follow you to a destination, they'll track you. But if you know HOW they get your Jeep, you can at least make it difficult for them. If not stop them from taking your Jeep.
