I was going to wash the Wrangler for the last time on Friday, but ended up not getting around to it... and then I did this!

I got a waterproof one piece top coming in later today, and I will be running the Wrangler this way until this upcoming December at least. So I guess no more car washes for me. The once it gets warmer, I'll probably wipe it down and hose it down in the front yard!
Honestly the only things I really take constant care of are my front windshield which I'll clean every couple of weeks to get the bugs off of. And then I take care of my headlights fog lights off-road lights tail lights third brake light every 2 weeks. I'll give it a good clean up and then every 3 months or so all give the headlight lense a good polish and ceramic treating.
But for the most part, I only really clean it to keep the dust down. Honestly if I wash it and get it all shiny, it'll only be like a day or two before it's dirty again, so why bother. Waste your time for something that's inevitably going to get dirty again.
That's definitely one of the benefits of having moved to Texas.I'm not worried about the Jeep being shiny but I am particular about road salt and mud, especially in and around the frame.
Living in the Northeast, I'll hose the underbelly around once a week if roadsalt is present like now.
Just got my 2024 so it has yet to be broken in with the proper trail rash but rest assured it's coming shortly.
Nothing worse then getting my big behind on the ground hosing out the frame in barely above 32 degrees and forget the driveway is at an angle and all that salty cold slop going up the back of my pant leg and shirtThat's definitely one of the benefits of having moved to Texas.
Back in Connecticut, vehicles wouldn't last very long thanks to all that damn road salt in the winter, and all the damn sand they were throwing down.
Down here in Texas, if we do ever get snow, the likelihood of them salting the roads outside of the interstates is extremely low.
I think Frisco does it in certain places, but we don't associate with those rich folks down there.![]()

If I worked at a cheese factory, I wouldn't be able to fit in the Jeep!I work at a cheese factory with big heated bays and hot hoses so I wash it every Friday if it needs it or not.
