So I've got a JLU Willys that I installed the rubi swaybar onto. I got the Evo No Limits Manual Disconnect for it since it seems pretty popular. But I don't like how I have to basically lay on the dirt/mud to reach under and turn it (I have the air dam still on and want to keep it on for the mpg's). I've only had it long enough for two trail rides and I'm already kinda sick of it. Which of the alternatives would be a good replacement? I know there is an air actuated version, but then I need onboard air. Would be nice to have an in cabin switch, though, and not have to lug around my smittybilt 2781 to fill my tires back up.

I also saw that JKS has a cable version that requires rework of the electric actuator. I still have it so could do it. Nice that it is still mechanical like the evo, but can be placed in a more convenient location. But I haven't seen many reviews of it, and it looks more geared towards a rubi, where you keep some of the wiring? Any thoughts are appreciated.

Rock Krawler no limits sway bar links. Misalignment end links don’t require disconnecting with the rubicon sway bar and you can kill small game with them as well?

This^^^.... big time!

What's the sense of going through the hassle of installing the Rubicon edisconnect sway motor assembly, just to end up laying in the dirt anyway. Rock Krawler No Limits links for the win.

So those look cool, and could be good to use WITH my rubi swaybar, but do not solve my key issue.

This is a rubi swaybar on a non-rubi jeep which means no e-disconnect, so I need to install something else to actuate it.

I tried the Evo No Limits knob - don't like it.

Wondering what other options besides the Evo No Limits on-demand assembly (air compressor required). If that is the only reliable alternative that keeps my back off the dirt, then that is what I'll get. Was hoping someone on here had experience with the JKS cable system, or some other alternative.

Hmm, I gotcha. My only thought is the factory switch and a Tazer but I’m not even sure that would work. I know the Tazer can be used to delete the rubicon sway bar but I’m not sure if it works to add it. Might be a fairly expensive complicated route to go as well.

you can wire it to aux switch or spod, but it’s a bit involved…….this isn’t exactly the same, but gives you an idea, I don’t know if you can just locate the hot and ground and run it to a switch, or if there’s more than one hot, needing 2 switches like in the video……..if I ever go to anti rocks I plan to dissect it, see if it can be used without computer. Anyway as I read this back I realize I’m a little less than useless here…?

Haha! I appreciate the effort. I've heard the actuator uses the CAN bus, so not just a simple switch like an e-locker or lights - needs to talk with the ECU. I think I may end up just doing the air controlled version.
