Just ask @cosine he knows!
Mine arrived yesterday. I cannot for the life of me find any documentation on installation in the package. Does anyone have an installation manual or user guide with theirs?
Might shoot a DM to @chevymitchell he's the resident differential whisperer here! Should just be a standard carrier install so you'd have to do a complete regear procedure as far as setting up the new tolerances, and new bearings and gear bolts should probably be used.

10K miles later, everything works fine, no issues whatsoever. I tried this on gravel and mud and it works well. I did not have rear tire in the air yet (or I did not notice).
The bias for helical diff should be around 1:3, I don't know what is it for this one.
The instructions would be the same as to change original diff carrier.
With this one I did regear to 4.56 at the same time. Since I replaced gears I can't tell if the factory shims will work as expected or not for just carrier replacement. I did use shims from dana master rebuild kit, factory shims were too tight, but again, I also replaced gears.
Since factory shims are one piece, if I was doing this for just carrier replacement, I would get some shims before taking diff apart just in case I need to adjust.

Pulled the triger on this LSD a couple days ago.
It arrived today. I'll get it installed next week.
The mechanic just installed one on another JL and told me built quality was great.

So this is basically a Torsen/TrueTrac that fits in JL? Have another thread in this topic. Looking for daily street driver/mild off road/snow and ice LSD in rear for a 2020 JLUS

Looks like they are now taking pre orders for the trutrac. It is more than double the current sale price of the nitro helix

https://www.drivetrainspecialists.com/trutrac/917a736.html
Good find. I already got the nitro. Hope it's as good as the TrueTrac.
I'm waitng on a front prorock 44 I ordered last month, with a front TrueTrac. So I will have both on my Jeep.
I know it's front vs rear, but I will be able to compare how they both perform on and off-road.

I got the Nitro last week. I jumped on it as soon as I saw that sale price. I wonder if the people at Nitro new the trutrac was coming soon so they lowered that price.

I wish I wouldve ordered one and kept in my garage. It is now $450. Still a good price. Considering waiting to see if it goes on sale again.

At some point my LSD is going to wear out and instead of rebuilding it I am just gonna get a better unit and regear the jeep. Eat the cost as usual "maintenance"

Not a bad deal right now, was the full $661 last week. 429.99 not bad at all!

I've wheeled a couple times after installing mine and it works great limiting wheel slip. And on the street it goes unnoticed.
Don't know it's current price. I have this one on the rear and truetrac on the front.
Truetrac for the rear is now available too.

No issues with Nitro so far and a very good wheeling experience on Drummond Island Marble Head loop trail. I had chance to speak with Eaton rep at Silver Lake Jeep Invasion event last weekend and he had rear Truetrac on display and a front one in catalogue. It sounds like Truetrac has a little better bias than Nitro. Both are excellent products imho. Nitro does not make front one. I would be interested to hear if someone installed front Eaton Truetrac on Dana M186.
