It ended up 100% being caused by the Tazer. I unmarried and removed the tazer for a few weeks and the issue disappeared.
Zauto has made an update to the firmware to alleviate the problem, it seems to be working (so far) for the last few weeks
I can't say with certainty because there are so many different aftermarket bumpers available.
What i can say, is that this mounts to the frame, and not the bumper... so it should work with most bumpers
Thanks for that info! Let me know what they find.
Ive noticed a few times my dash has been "stuck" on hours after ive shut off the jeep. Ive found that locking it makes the dash finally turn off. Ive heard it could be the uconnect radio. I have the 7", so not sure if that one is...
I updated my profile. Its a 2019. 3.6 auto. Ess works and no warning lights or messages.
I forgot to mention i did the aux battery delete. I also have ess always disabled via the tazer
Last week i put in a new battery thinking it was a bad battery issue ( my battery charger wouldn't...
EDIT: it was an issue with the tazer. A new firmware was released that remedied the issue.
Battery has been randomly going dead. Sometimes i dont drive the jeep for a couple days, and its not always dead. But 3 times in the past month it has been dead in the morning.
Ive now unhooked...
Some places require your safety flag to be mounted to the front. I didn't like the style that clamp to the tow hooks. So i came up with this simple design that puts it between the grille and bumper
Does anyone randomly know, or have a stock JL TPMS sensor handy that they can weigh? I know its kind of a ridiculous question, but if anyone knows, it would be greatly appreciated!
Oddly enough the best price for tires was simpletire via amazon (in February) and i bought rocktrix wheels from Amazon. I mounted/balanced myself, so take that into consideration on total cost
I picked up 5each 315/70/17 for $165each. That was a good enough deal to try them. Im usually a tire brand snob. Had them on about 900 miles. Running at 30psi. I was really surprised that i didn't have to balance them. They are quieter than expected too. No experience offroad yet
Wow, thank you. Thats well written with great information.
I think i will check balance of the wheels first, and mount tires and check balance. And add beads as necessary. These are cheap tires, so i dont have high expectations, but want to get the balance as good as possible
Ive pretty...
I have some new 17x9 rocktrix wheels and 315-70-17 patagonia mts to mount up.
I'm trying to decide on balance beads or stickon weights.
I used airsoft beads in my YJ which had 37 military tires, dana60s, etc. and that setup seemed to work okay, but I never really drove that jeep over...
