Proper gear oil for Rubicon Rear diff?

I’m gonna do mine around 15k
Took a peek at the rear diff. It's maybe 1/8 - 1/4" below the fill hole so I just put it back together and didn't bother adding any. I did notice the fill plug was well below torque spec though, pretty loose. So if for nothing else, glad I checked and secured that.

On mine at the first oil change I noticed the oil drain plug was barely hand tight. It's good to check all these plugs soon after purchase.

Mine was barely hand tight too at first oil change. This is good advice!
