Nitro Helix Helical Gear Diff for JL

Pre-COVID Yukon is not the same as Post-COVID Yukon. My offroad club has a lot of members that sing their praises, and a lot that swear off any of their brands. The defining difference seems to be when you dealt with them. Not one JL or JT owner has had a good experience, but the JK and prior owners seem to have had a great experience.

It’s been more than just 2 years since they started declining.

I searched but Yukon does not make helical diff carrier for Dana M220 rear axle. Only Nitro Gear makes them. This is why I was hesitant and started this thread. So far no regrets, 900+ miles works fine. If anything goes wrong I'll post here.

Thanks for the updates. The product has been out for a little while now, I’m surprised there hasn’t been more feedback. Will be watching this thread carefully.

As someone who bought a Wrangler in part for heavy snow driving, a helical LSD made more sense than going lockers. The stock anti-spin clutch LSD works great for my needs, but I fully expect them to wear out during ownership.

Is the stock lsd in a 2018 a gear lsd or a clutch type?.. I thought the newer anti-spin was a helical lsd.

Just talked to jeep and you are right, it is a clutch lsd.

Mine arrived yesterday. I cannot for the life of me find any documentation on installation in the package. Does anyone have an installation manual or user guide with theirs?
