Finally set up an appointment to get the new updated track bar to try and fix the wobble shimmy when hitting rough spots when going 65+
Also going to have them adjust the toe in to the new spec, and retorque everything in the front end. I may loosen something in a parking lot down the street before getting there, just to see if they pick up on it as I have torque wrenches, just to test the service department( I retorqued everything a while ago and periodically check it, I have had to tighten a ball joint once since I retorqued)
I don't have any wandering or loose steering issues, it is just the wobbles when hitting expansion joints or rough patches of road at highway speed.
I am hoping it relieves the wobbles before I get my new wheels and tires next week, if it still wobbles after the track bar upgrade, I may grab a set of LCAs from a mopar 2" kit to give it another degree of castor.
Or tell my dealer to do that so I can report back to them with the results, this JLU is a lease, so I don't really want to shell out money to fix it TBH

Has anyone had success with the new track bar and toe in spec fix the wobble/shimmy?
Should I have them do an alignment as well? on their dime of course.

You gotta fix all the steering stuff, trackbar has helped some and if you had to blindly guess thats a good one to guess at.

if your drag link bushings are soft and have play, that maybe next. Lots of people that had issues had bad alignments, its good to do it, every item you check off is one less to be wondering about.

I didn't get the new track bar, but did get a new drag link/tie rod end at the pitman arm. That did nothing. Twice they've replaced the dampener. Both times it started out as a small improvement and then deteriorated. The last one became worse than ever. I just installed a Fox 2.0 dampener, which was about 140 bucks or so from Quadratec and so far it has wiped out the shake/shimmy. Mine was between 45 and 60, mainly, but I was starting to feel a small bit of it on certain bumps at below 40.

I do have a new Rancho track bar waiting for installation. I just need a vice for my new work bench so that I can put some torque on the lock nut (requires 150 foot pounds). At this point, though, I'm hoping it makes the job of that dampener easier by getting to the root of the problem. I'm pretty impressed with the performance of the Fox unit. Some claim it causes a pull to the left, but mine doesn't do that at all. That Rancho track bar, btw, helped reduce this issue dramatically for Eddie at (sensored).com. He showed it in a video.

My dealership did say the alignment was in spec. I still may do that myself just to be sure.

I didn't want to spend money, either, but it became a bigger hassle taking it to the dealership than the 10 minutes it took me to install the Fox. If the fixes don't stick, then I'll look at options to adjust castor. Anyway, right now, the Fox dampener has the thing feeling great.

I am thinking about getting the fox stabilizer too, and the bracket to relocate it, but I want to get the shake/shimmy under control or at least 90% better before I get it, so I don't trash a $140 SS
Good thing is I have gotten pretty good at knowing when and where it will happen in my travels.

UPDATE:
Had my JLU Sport S at the Dealer this morning to get the new trackbar, and check toe.

I am Happy to Report this JLU now drives with ZERO issue.
My toe was out considerably, they brought it into spec.
They put in the new trackbar, while the tech had it in the air he checked my SS and noticed it was from the bad batch, so he replaced it because they had them in stock.

Got on the Highway and immediately noticed the difference, before I needed a lot of correction, now, It is a lot better.

So I gave it the final test, I know exactly where I can make it shake on that ride, so I got into the right lane and braced myself lol, didn't shake on the first spot, but I didn't get hyped as there are 6 spots I know of that made it shake...well not one made it shake, felt rock solid.

Very happy
zero vibrations, zero shakes, drives straight as an arrow, only correction is when wind blows me, other than that my hand was at 12 o'clock and rarely moved, and feels better around turns.

I just had the JKS Track-bar, rear track-bar relocation bracket, premium caster eccentric hardware and Fox ATS Steering Stabilizer set pretty high on the adjustment -and a “high caster alignment” and it drives like a totally different vehicle. I am very happy so far.

I had previously had the Mopar 2/4 inch lift. My axles were off about 3/4 of and inch. I’m now within 1/8 inch

yeah, it drives like a different jeep now lol, the real test will be when my wife drives it, if she is happy, then rainbows might shoot across the sky.
She hated driving it, I got used to it, so I didn't mind it, I have driven much worse jeeps in my life lol.
