New JLU Runs rough

New 2022 Wrangler 3.6 Etorque 8spd. 1433 miles on it. Today while driving on sand ot started running rough and has a foul smell. It starts normal and idles smooth after a miute or so i feel it starts running rough. at 2k rpm it is worst. accelerates but I can feel it is running rough. Due today is Saturday cant get in till Monday. Any ideas from anyone? Hopefully someone can advise me with words of wisdom

No Check Engine light. Will it kick codes without check light?
I am at a RV park with no reader but can goby autozone

You may have codes without the CEL being on.

May be worth it to go through the fuse box and make sure they are all properly seated. Good luck

You sure it isn’t ABS related? I’d suspect the sand is the problem. What were you doing on sand?

Driving on Pismo Beach sand only Not in water. some of the sand was deeper

It started when I was in some deep sand also low on fuel. Got out of sand and filled tank. Starts and runs smooth for a few minutes. Then starts running rough and foul smell. Can u elaborate on ABS causing problem. Never owned something with all the fancy stuff on it.

Did you get some bad gas? Elaborate on what you mean by running rough. What exactly does it do, under what conditions?

I don't think bad fuel is it. I used a fuel tank for two weeks ran great. I didn't add any fuel till after it started running rough. It starts and ideas smooth then after a few hundred yards of driving it cutting out and idles rough. Turn it off restart runs fine again, then start cutting out seems worst at 2k rpm

The fact that it started when you were low on fuel has me thinking you picked up some stuff from tank. Possibly getting through filter and into a injector.
