Just turned on my new 2019 JL this morning and the dashboard turned off and on again several times while driving. Included in this odd behavior is the speedometer literally sitting below 0 while I’m driving. The dealer is saying the issue has to do with a bad battery from the factory.

Does anyone else have experience with this? Is the speedometer operated by the battery? Would that cause the issue?

Mine always reads below zero when I'm in reverse. Try shifting into (D) and it should correct itself!

I had this exact problem earlier in the week when we had a cold snap here in PA. I found a few other threads mentioning this issue and most people were getting their dash clusters replaced by the dealer. Hilariously enough a couple light taps to the top of the dash brought mine back to life. (an old trick from my time owning a TJ) I suppose a voltage drop in the battery could cause an issue like this but not sure how a couple taps would solve a battery issue.
