Had a P0562 CEL code on vehicle and replaced main and aux batteries. Didn't seem to change anything. Verified all fuses were good including ohming the fuse array block. The next day, the car started with no problem and CEL and battery light were gone. Drove the vehicle 500 feet and the jeep, without warning immediately shutoff while going 20 mph. No lights on dash, no power, completely dead. I shifted into neutral and waited for flat bed. The cluster still indicated my 2,300 rpm and 20 mph. Glad I was in a neighborhood and not on the dang highway. That would have been a horrible situation.

To get the vehicle to release, I had to hold the orange release the entire time or the vehicle wouldn't move, even though it was in neutral.

since you already replaced both batteries and fuses are good did you check the wire harness under the front passenger side wheel well and follow it all the way back to make sure it wasn’t lying on anything hot like the exhaust. This has happend on some rigs esp the 2020’s

I didn’t look at that, but would that cause a catastrophic failure within three minutes of the engine being on?

I’ve got a buddy with a ‘23 and his was resting on the exhaust. It wore through the outer layer of the protective sheath but not thru the wiring yet. his jeep only has 8k miles.
definitely give that a look.

I’ll check that when I receive my rig back. Thank you very much!

I found it best to pull the fender liner to get to the wiring to ha enough room to relocate it.

Well after the dealership had the vehicle for 12 days, they said it was a loose nut, but wouldn't say where or what they did. Jeep is operating well now. Maybe they moved the line on the exhaust perhaps, but unwilling to claim that?
