2022 Rubicon. I am considering putting some new Warn Epic Jackhammer wheels (17x8.5). Almost the same size that came on my factory Xtreme Recon package (17x8).
Will the rear camera still work/be in the correct place with these new wheels (one as the spare)?
Thank you

Camera will most likely “see” the wheel, and your collision warning will then drive you nuts every time you back up.

Hard to know. I have 17x8.5" with -8mm offset that doesn't interfere with my camera at all. Solid chance you'll be fine. I've heard keep the air nozzle high up on the tire so the camera doesn't think it's something on the ground.
I know this was a camera question, but make sure your backspacing is accounted for in either a new tire carrier or extended stops.

Ok thanks guys. Guess I should have clarified, I dont have my Wrangler yet, being delivered next week so I havent had a chance to look close at how the camera is mounted/integrated. Appreciate the info.

Thanks. Any suggestions on what extended stops I will need or is it more of a case of first mount it and then see what is required?

There are some DIY solutions involving chair leg covers or quadratec sells some you can buy. I don't know the backspacing on the XR wheels, or how that differs from your proposed wheels. But bottom line is if the new wheel/tire doesn't squish against the tire stops, keep it dismounted until you get new ones (DIY or off-the-shelf).
I have a tire carrier that allows me to adjust in/out and up/down, so I don't know much about relocation plates or using the stock carrier.

Epic wheels are the exact same size as my Black Rhino warthogs at 17x8.5 with 0 offset (4.75’’ BS) and camera works fine. You only see the wheel a little.
