I’m installing the geometry correction brackets from AEV on my jeep and the holes to mount the passenger side bracket don’t line up. If I mount the upper bracket , the lower outside bracket hole is about 1/4” too low for the bolt to pass through? If I do it in reverse thr upper mount bolt won’t go on. Any suggestions?

No play at all??? Measuring the bolt hole on the frame and bracket would confirm whether they will fit or not.

also see if the distance between the holes on both brackets match ?‍♂

whatever you do, don’t drill the frame to match the bracket hole. Chances are caster will be way off on one side.

I would get as many measurements as possible and then contact AEV.

First - don't panic. This type of almost-but-not-quite is pretty common once you jump into vehicle modification

Second - re-evaluate all possible ways this might be fitting or mistfitting left/right up/down upside down, mirror-reversed, left vs. right incorrect swap, etc.... - or just more pressure than you can easily apply by hand: "Additional persuasion via BFH" :-D

Third - if you're convinced you have the right component oriented correctly, you may need to extend or elongate a mounting hole. But because it's a component that plays directly into caster/alignment, and this can be "fun" to correct after the fact, I'd contact AEV directly for technical advice before taking that step.

Caveat: I've done plenty of modifications but never installed an AEV kit.

I think we got it. My son was able to put both bolts in at the same time and that made it so we could get them close enough that I could pound the bottom one through without an issue. Thank you everyone for the
