2018 JLUR, with complete non factory set up. JL C5, or C2 speakers in dash with 6.5" in knee panel and overhead, all ran my JL MX 500/4, dash are ran off the head unit I believe? I believe JL RD 500/1 running the JL stealth box?!
The stereo randomly cuts out all noise except to the sub. Almost invediably happens after reversing, but not always. I can change am to fm to sirius, to phone, and nothing works but turning the jeep off, opening the door, and restarting. Which is a pita when in town or interstate!
This was all happening with the 7" Uconnect, so I had a Stinger installed hoping this would correct the problem, it did not, still have the same issue.
Any ideas or similar experiences? I did not do the install, local shop did, and cannot figure it out either. If anyone has ideas, but needs more info on the setup, let me know and I can get details on what other components were used.

Bump, any ideas of how the stereo could be tied into reverse? Seems to happening more often now several seconds after backing out of a spot and driving forward.
Obviously, back up camera, but what could be causing all the speakers but the sub to cut out?

Did you ever get this sorted? Same issue here. Wondering if I should just replace the backup camera even though it doesn't seem to have he common issues of disappearing lines or incorrect display.
