Jeep forum turns relationship advice....
Its not fixable. I tried for 13 years as he self sabotaged our relationship. I believe in family values and the commitment of marriage in a world seems to lack morals and family values. I'm ready to be happy and lighthearted again. And if i have to let Her Highness go so he can feel like he is punishing me for leaving, then so be it. I rather be free without my 392. A jeep can be replaced, but I lost those 13 years.
But! I'm not switching the doors back. Those stock doors weigh as much as I do! It was really hard putting them on myself!

Some ppl fight over dogs or the house. We only disagreed over the jeep. But i won. So now I'm happy! And i switched back the doors -alone.
So what are my options for protecting the paint on the hinges in the future? Since this is my first set of the doors I'm searching forum for tips and tricks! Life is good.

I second the above. I have had their hinge protectors installed for 3 yrs.+ now and they look good as new, no yellowing, no peeling and NO hinge chips with over 52,000 miles of driving..

I encourage you to ASAP, buy and install 3M Clear Paint Protection Vinyl Film on your door hinges.
