Need Cut Out Switch

We are going to be spending 2 months in Mexico and I'm wondering if there is a need to install an ignition cut out switch. Actually, I'm wondering if an ignition cut out switch would be good to have all the time even in the USA. What do you think?

It's a great idea. Commonly called a kill switch, you could splice it into any circuit. Fuel pump, pcm, anything critical. Look at some wiring diagrams (available on this site), use your imagination, don't post where you put it.

If you have the Taser for your JL, you can create a pin to be able to start your JL.

But my experience is the cheap end of the market is not that reliable.

This might be higher quality and they call out fitment for the JL so you don't need to work out which fuel pump wire to intercept.
