I've ordered and installed these (https://www.extremeterrain.com/jeep-logo-mud-guards-1119-j102026.html). They also have a shorter (9X15) version available.

I used the existing rivet holes. Because the upper two holes are not on the same plane as the lower two, the flat rubber mudflaps are bent and plastic rivets won't hold them in place. So I use used stainless 1/4" machine screws, nuts, flat washers and spring washers to hold the bottom 3 holes. I was able to still use the plastic rivets on the top holes

The rear mudflaps required considerable trimming to fit. I mounted the rear using only two bolts (the top portion stay ed against the rear fender so I see no need for additional faster, for now). The outer hole (right on the photo) is the existing rivet hole. The inner hole (left on the photo) is from the steel bracket I located behind the inner fender. I used an auger to pierce a hole from inside This portion of the inner rear fenders can be easily removed (by removing two sheet metal screws) to drill the 1/4" holes.

Very cool. This is exactly what I want to do. Not sure I want to add more white Jeep logos though... Thanks for the photos!

The link above is for a rear set only. Did you order 2 rear sets and adapt one for use on the front, or did you order something different?
The description says "universal" so I thought these are for front and rear and ordered two sets of the same. To fit the front actually requires no trimming at all, whereas on the rear I need to trim to make the vertical portion of the "L" longer to clear the bulges on the rear inner fenders (see below).

I sure hope some one make a splash guard for the JL Rubicon, in a month my rear fenders are tore up on the front side. Hope some one post a custom fit unit I can install!

I just ordered a set of Ace sliders to soak up most of the flinging rocks from gravel roads, plus they seem pretty heavy duty for the occasional stump or rock that wants to smash into the rockers.
Also an added bonus is the wife can use them as a step up:like:
But i will definitely buy some if they ever make a nice looking set of front flaps for the Rubicon.:cwl::swear:

I made my own out of 1/4" thick 12" wide mud flaps from NAPA, they are about 12" from the ground on a stock Rubicon suspension and tires, just barely cover the tire width. No modifications to the Jeep, so I can remove them and return back to stock. They help but need to be lower and wider, if something else better comes along I will replace them. They would get ripped off on extreme off road situation, but are easily removed. Made them only for the front, did not worry about the rear yet.

Those above are an option but I will wait a little longer for custom fit to come out, I HOPE!

I finally got around to installing mud/slush guards this weekend. I took a couple of hours, but they should help a lot once the snow comes. Bought 2x Highland p/n 1241200 from Amazon. The rear guards were trimmed to fit around the plastic piece that covers the pinch seam and the extra rubber was used as spacers to mount them up. The flaps are heavy-duty rubber that will stay flexible in the cold, and should also fold away on the rocks.

Front install: Removed the two clip and replaced with bolts. The top narrow part has a thin strip cut to back in up on the edge of the well.

Rear flaps trimmed to fit... Reused the mounting holes available on the trim bracket. The top is held on with screws, but I'll replace them with removable clip with I rotate the tires (I'll need to get a drill in there.)

Yeah, I was driving in snow earlier this week and so much ice built up on the front top edge of the rear fender...from the front tire kicking it back. It was to the point where it interfered with opening the rear door. It wasn't super cold so it just fell off, but maybe in colder weather it would be an issue.

So I think I am gathering the only way to truly protect the side of the Jeep JLUR is to by sliders/steps that stick out enough or to fashion you your own mudflaps. Correct?

I have added custom mud flaps to my JLUR and the snow still build up on the back fender. It no longer hits the side doors though. I'd say it's still a win. Full runners or side steps will keep the snow off the fenders, but then it just builds up under the steps. I went through 3 sets of side steps in 10 years with my last pickup -- they all rusted out. I'll keep the Jeep setup the way it is!

I ended up putting on oem side steps...it basically gives 80% blockage of the front tires which has helped reduce those chips....I figured this was the best option until some kind of flaps come out...
Which OEM side steps did you install glenville?
