That’s great! I’m also happy with the mileage I’ve been getting.

However I don’t think that’s a “lifetime” average, at least after you have driven a certain number of miles. It seems to be an average over the last 1000 miles or so. I’ve never seen this documented anywhere, but that seems to be the way it works based on observation.

How are you getting this MPG?? I'm lucky to break 16mpg....

I am also lucky to get 16mpg. But my top is always down. That makes a huge difference. Worth it though.

To get this type of mileage, you have to drive 55-60mph down the highway. Who has time for that???
From San Jose to Los Angeles, on a busy highway where most of the road is flat, while going on 70+ speed, I could only mange to get 18MPG with my 4-door Sahara with 12.5" wide tires (32" size). Otherwise, with Bay Area traffic, I get up to 19 MPG. This is great!!! 23 MPG is a great mileage.

Raises hand... that's how I drive my jeep.
Honestly, I wish everyone would slow the hell down...wtf do we need to drive 80 mph everywhere.

Some people shouldn't be allowed to go 8 mph, never mind 80 mph

I’m averaging around 8-9 mpg sometimes 6 if it’s super windy and I drive fast.

He must be running a catch can to get that kind of mileage.

It's party time if I reach 18 MPG - Sport S, 2 door, V6, Auto, 2300 miles

Catch can is on my wish list so I can do my part to help conserve.

I went out on a long motorcycle ride on Saturday on my cbr1000rr. I was doing 80-85 and people were passing me left and right. Drive 55 on a major highway and be prepared to have something thrown at you. Lol

I won’t lie, 3.6 with the six speed. And I tend to avg 21-22 even with off-roading mixed in with highway. Loving my Jeep more and more

That’s the same mileage I get from my Rubicon. I believe the best I have done is 19mpg and the average is 16-17mpg not sure how to get 23.

I now have about 2300 miles on my 3.6L JLU and I am consistently getting 21.6 mpg driving to work and back (not hwy). Once and awhile I'll even see 22 mpg! I think when the engine is fully broken in it may even climb a bit...

I can only get 19 mpg and that’s when I drive it like my age, old man. I only get 17 if I enjoy a little kick from the light.
