As I was playing with the steering wheel buttons yesterday I stumbled across the average MPG. I'm at 2500 miles now and am pleased with the number. If I remember right, I think this is over the sticker MPG.

You can also change the settings to show a little number down by D to highlight what gear you are in.

There is another MPG page that shows your average MPG since the trip computer was last reset.

That number is a guess. Miles/Gallons=MPG

I have a JL Sport S with the 3.6L and have gotten 27.5 MPG on a trip from Charleston SC to Raleigh NC. I generally get 23-24 MPG on mixed driving to and from work. Thest MPG values are based on miles and gallons actually used not just what the dash says.

I'm thinking it's a lifetime vehicle MPG . It's a 3.6, and I am very pleased with that number!

How have you managed to drive 2,500 miles, all of which are apparently going down a large hill while in neutral?!?

Pretty cool to get 23MPG. I only have a little over 1600 miles on my 2019 Sahara 4 door. I like having the MPG display on when I'm driving....it's kinda like a video game....you get rewarded with higher MPG while driving. In a way, it teaches you good habits with the combination of gears and the gas pedal. I'm a musician and haul an enclosed music gear trailer (5X9) on the weekends and see my MPG get down to mid 16's. When I drive without the trailer, I see my MPG climb....for the first time this week, I finally reached 20.0MPG on the display. I told the wifey I would be happy to get 20MPG, but now I want more !!! :)

Sitting at 11K miles and about 20mpg as of late, which has definitely been nice. Still having to manually add 3-5gal each fill up since it clicks off around 16-17gal when I fill up.

I can't remember who, but I did see a post on the forums stating if you keep your RPMs generally around 1.5-2K you'll see an improvement

I agree, but I have a 3.6 JL 2018 4 door. I get 15, but I drive only to and from work with minimal travelling out of town. What is the tire pressure I wonder. Mine is at around 36. What is the best tire pressure to run for gas mileage?
