Curious how people are mounting their Goal Zeros, Jackerys, etc. so they are good and secure when offroad. I have a rear cargo shelf and was thinking about using these straps from Rough Country, but I'm curious if there are better options. The inside of the jeep gets pretty sporty on some of the trails around here and I would prefer to minimize the chances of a lithium missile. I have a Goal Zero 1000x for reference.

Thanks - Mike

Is it slotted for straps (can you run one big loop)? I really like rollercam over a standard cheap cam lock if you can make it work.

It isn't intentionally slotted for straps but it does have the two handles which would work.

I meant the shelf, so you could loop under the unit.

My EcoFlow is sandwiched between my back seat and my Milwaukee tool box. It is actually so tight that I am afraid it's going to bust the case when I put the seat in the upright position. I really like the EcoFlow but I dislike the handle on the backside, it makes it difficult to put it anywhere good. I just ordered a Goose Gear cargo plate and I am going to order the American Adventure Lab cargo tray so hopefully I can figure out something.

I mounted mine with some straps using footman loops and the bar on my Vector GCB. The 2.4 spacing footman loops fit the pre drilled rotopax holes and it work’s perfect.

Do you have pic by chance? Or better yet a link to the footman loop? Pretty great solution there. I have the same shelf.

Dang, you almost cost me over a million dollars.

I assumed a Footman loop was a fancy nautical knot so I started searching for nautical rope. That lead me to searching for Yachts for sell and I found one that I liked for a little over 1 million. I gave it a good look and decided that I wanted it and then remembered that I don't have a spare million.

Then I started searching for boats and found a ski boat that I liked but I also would need a new truck and a place to store it plus a wakeboard and skis and I really don't even go to the lake so I decided I could get by with a Kayak.

I found a couple of Kayaks that I liked, and I could use those to go down some of the rivers and creeks that I find when I am out wheeling. I then realized that I don't really have a way to carry those on my Jeep since I have a SOT and I also don't really understand how to get back to my Jeep once I float down a river. I also don't really have a place to store them but I figured once I learned to tie a Footman loop, I could figure out a way to hang them from my garage ceiling.

Before I hit the order button for the Kayaks, I decided I would start practicing my Footman loop. I searched it and found out that it was just a simple strap bracket and I have 8 of them in my tool chest that I have no use for.

I took the money that I saved by not buying any type of watercraft, and spent that money on 2 Iceco fridge slides. When my Goose Gear and slides come in, I should have a great way to mount my fridge and tool box but I still don't have a good plan for the power station.

I have mine mounted on my AAL cargo shelf and strapped to two of these fittings. The straps would tear if they just went through the tie down cutouts on the AAL to the sharpness of those cutouts. The straps can be fully tightened on these w/o tearing.

That looks awesome. I wanted something like that, but limits what you can bring.
I often bring my bbq smoker and won't fit with that system.
