What do you expect from this time of year, lol. I procrastinated and didn’t install my new shocks or do the oil change I intended to do. It warmed up some but I’ve still not done them.

We drove through that ice this morning on our way to Buxton, NC. Jeep drove great. Stopped in VA to wash the salt off. Looking forward to getting it out on the beach this week.

It makes for a great day run either with a group or solo.

It’s the only off-road area that is “within short driving distance” for me. On a good day, I can make it from the middle of Long Island to Wharton in 2.5hrs, via Staten Island. I’ve only done some of the trails I saw on OnX.

Super easy to follow or create your own route.
I haven't had to download offline maps because I always have service anywhere in the forest.

What’s it looking like right now? Lots of snow there? I’m thinking of passing by over the next few days for a half day or two. How do those pesky mud holes and water puddles turn out when they’re snow covered? Do you just break through the ice, get stuck and slice up tires?

Not sure of current conditions, it's an hour south of me.
Any mud should be frozen. Trails are mostly compacted sand.
Most water holes have bypasses.
Tomorrow a break in the weather is forecasted

Obviously, somebody pissed her off.

We Arizona people have respect for her and she rewarded us with 70 degree weather and only had lite rain for a half of a day just to water the cacti, pucker bushes and giggly weeds.
