Mopar Steel Front Bumper Help

I have a 2024 Rubican XR 4door and I currently have the plastic front bumper. Wanting to go to the Mopar steel bumper. Could you tell me what all I may need parts wise and can I install my Rubican led fog lights in bumper. Does bumper even come with halogen fog lights?
From what I can tell is I need
Bumper #82215121AI
Winch plate if I install winch #82215185AB Or Is there an aftermarket supplier ?
Not sure if I need anything else? Filler plate? New front skid plate. Would appreciate any help.

maybe aftermarket winch plates available I am using the ATP winch plate. LED fogs will work just fine. also i would look around a take off is going to save you a bunch. there is also the aluminum verison of the factory steel bumper.

Agree with Maverick. I’d look on Facebook marketplace for a takeoff, you can usually get them for several hundred less than a brand new one and in excellent condition. They will bolt right on and you can use the nuts that held on your plastic bumper, no other parts needed. You can either tear the plastic bumper apart and use those fog lights or you may get some in the steel bumper. I do know if you buy a brand new steel bumper, they come with the fog lights already installed in the bumper. It is a pretty easy install, and you do not need a winch plate or anything else unless you are installing a winch as well. You may want the steel skid plate as well as the old plastic one will not fit the steel bumper.

Bumper will come with LED fogs, plug and play. (if you get it new from Mopar, mine did)

There are knock offs on eBay of that skid plate, I bought one for like $100, works fine, paint is shit though. The skid plate is different for the steel or plastic bumper. Hardware is easy to get, just get it from your local hardware store. If yours already has a metal skid plate, I don't think you need these, but if you have a plastic skid plate, you'll need these brackets too:

Winch plate, I love my Maximus 3 one. You can get filler plates for most winch models (these are the standard ones, they make them for Zeons too), looks very nicely integrated.

You’ll also need to oem skid plate and brackets.

LED fogs will require a new mounting bracket if you pick up a bare bumper. Other miscellaneous steel skid plate nuts and bolts below as well.

Thanks guys, With all the other parts you need to make it work, it starts to add up, lol I looked at the Arcus front stubby. It wont except my led fogs. Trying to keep an oem theme going. Need a winch though. We wheel in AZ in the winters

Hybryd40, I found an as new Mopar Steel bumper at a local salvage yard for 1/3 of retail price. Researched the available winch plates and saw that some had few / substandard attachment points to the vehicle and were bending under load. I went with a Mopar winch mount. Space is tight for Warn Winch Wiring up next to the grill. Very pleased with this set up. Factory engineered parts. Good luck.

I just did this swap.

Steel Bumper and hardware
Steel Skid and hardware
Skid mounting brackets and nutcerts to install in frame
Winch Plate if installing winch
Fairlead if installing winch
I went with Maximus3 metal closeout panels to fill the big gaps between the bumper and grille instead of cutting the flimsy stock plastic one
Foglight 2 bolt adapter brackets, Oracle has a nice set, I bought cheap ones on Amazon and then had to spend $20 to get the correct hardware for them, Oracle would have been the better choice.

Mine was a factory winch bumper that came with a winch, so it has the longer crush can covers on it. I'm going to look for some shorter ones and swap them out. I also installed the Maximus3 flag mount on the passenger side for when I go to the sand dunes.

I believe that was everything.

It honestly took over a year of looking. I was really close to buying one of the knock off bumpers on eBay. I’ve heard mixed things about them. There was a junkyard I believe up by Detroit selling them for on Facebook. I believe for around 450, they had 8-10 of them though. It was a little further drive then I wanted to make

Wow that was a deal! I've been looking for a couple months and just the full width bumper that came off of a Moab edition for $750. Congrats.

Did you have any issues with the Badlands winch install? I have one that's been sitting in my storage unit til I found the bumper. Now I just need the winch plate and skid. Figure I'd install it all at once instead of having to take things on and off.

I 2nd what Bennybeaver said. It's going to take some time. People really hold on to these and when they're listed they, sell quickly. I just picked mine up today after looking for months. I regret selling mine along with the skid 2 years ago when I traded in my JLUR. I had a feeling I was going to end up back in a Jeep again one day but didn't listen to my gut.

I'm curious why your 24 Rubicon XR did not come with a steel front bumper... Mine did. That is part of the XR package. Do you have your window sticker? If it shows it and the Jeep did not come with it I would be back at my dealer asking for it to be replaced with what it was supposed to come with...
