Looks great. I'd get a winch if you don't have one, that helps for wheeling solo a ton. Otherwise, I find wheeling the JL a lot easier than the KJ other the break over and departure angles, but I think the lift should fix that. My gas tank skid is mangled to hell, so is the muffler and back...
  2. Winch decision …

I like Warn, have them on both my Jeeps. always work great and you know you will be able to get parts 10-20-30 years down the line. Plus something about Jeep and Warn just go together, two icons.
  3. Odd resonance on certain bumps

I checked that after I saw your post, it was just dirt. I noticed that too, but they're torqued to spec. Can't feel any play. I'll check for signs of contact, but I didn't see any...
  4. Odd resonance on certain bumps

Running the blocks that came with the kit. Running the blocks that came with the kit. It doesn't feel harsh like I'm bottoming out, and the Jeep is pretty light (don't carry anything heavy with me around town) I moved the stock rear ones to the front and used the supplied ones on the rear...
  5. Odd resonance on certain bumps

I've had my Dynatrac Endurosport lift for a month now and put about 800 miles on it - absolutely love it. However, I've noticed that when both rear tires hit a joint on a bridge, I get this weird resonance/rattle/soft thud that goes through the whole Jeep. I've retorqued everything several times...
  6. 2024 Info on protecting your new Jeep from road rash and rust?

I'd either park it outside or turn the heat off. I always park outside if there's salt on them. Only in the garage if they are clean (or at least got salt away on them, I just put it in a garden sprayer and spray them down when I get home after driving in salt before I pull into the garage).
  7. 2024 Info on protecting your new Jeep from road rash and rust?

Best way I've found: fluid film the hell out of all the frame rails and cavities you can find a hole in (I do it annually with a 3' piece of hose, use about a half dozen cans on the Jeep) and keep fresh paint on exterior of everything. Fluid film doesn't do anything on a surface that it can get...
  8. A little issue

https://www.harborfreight.com/one-step-folding-stool-black-57576.html Maybe just this? Put it out for her to get in, pick it up, and go. Might be easier to deal with then the other options, by far the cheapest and honestly might help the most. Or take end spots and park with the passenger side...
  9. FIXED - Sun Visor Rattle/Vibration Noise (Solution)

That's an awesome tip. I'm going to have to check mine now and see if that is what my rattle is.
  10. Sway Bar Disconnect On A Stock 2024 Willys...

Rubicon sway bar with an Evo no limits knob. Just have to reach under and twist the knob, doesn't require any real force. And no worries if the Jeep isn't level, it'll disconnect and reconnect just fine. I usually start airing down and reach under and disconnect it, then when I air up I reach...
  11. JLU Sahara Build

Found a set of Mopar Performance rock rails new for $100, so figured why not: And then finally my favorite mod, put it on last weekend, Dynatrac 2" endurosport lift! That makes it current through today. Have another trip to Moab planned this fall. Once this set of tires wears out, I'll go...
  12. JLU Sahara Build

Next mod: Warn winch and Mopar steel bumper. Took it wheeling to Windrock in Tennessee!
  13. JLU Sahara Build

Next mods before Moab (September of 2022): Rubicon sway bar disco: And then Moab time! Only damage:
  14. JLU Sahara Build

Thought I'd start documenting this since now I've changed it a bit more from being bone stock! Had always wanted a Wrangler and decided that with the 3rd blown PTU on the Renegade, it was time to trade that off. I had a vacation to Moab planned and was so excited to take the Wrangler there! The...
  15. RubiKHAAAAN!

Yeah it's not as bad as that. If you disconnect the track bars you get a ton of droop and things just fall out, even with the KJs for the rear springs you had to either use a spring compressor or just jack up the opposite side of the axle. I actually never had issues on the front lol the clevis...
  16. Warn VR EVO wire relocation

I didn't relocate anything and I ran mine under the grill and filler plate, wrapped in black electrical tape.
  17. RubiKHAAAAN!

Following you here and on JKJ (HoosierJeeper there!) this is where the rejects hang out LOL. Nice thread. I was just reading your comment about using the lift at the DIY rental shop and how to support the axles - just bring a floor jack and use that to raise and lower the axle as needed. Having...
  18. Dynatrac 2" Endurosport Lift Installed!

I got the Foxes with mine, and the kit was assembled in 2023 I could tell from the dates on stuff, but no idea if that's the plan for future kits.
  19. Dynatrac 2" Endurosport Lift Installed!

Yeah, I'm surprised about it too. Their website lists it with a slight different part number (one letter different at the end) and shows Dynatrac shocks in the pic but says Fox in the description. I emailed them but never get a response. Been thinking about spacers - I wouldn't want them to...
