Mopar Maximum Care - In Service Date?

I have a 2018 JLUS with 17500 miles bought in Nov 2018, still under factory warranty.

Does the "service plan" start on the date of purchase of plan?

Example, if I buy a 5yr/60k today, the JLUS will be covered till 2026/77500.

Unfortunately not.

So if you buy a 5 year plan, it will only be two years more than the factory 3 year warranty.

Same with the mileage.

The wording of these warranties is very misleading, since a 5 year whatever mileage is really only a 2 year, mileage from the 3 year 36,000 , or 5 year 60,000 mile powertrain warranty.
Read the fine print as well on hybrid high voltage items. The etorque systems have an 8 year 80,000 mile federal required warranty.

I got quoted $1450 for 8yrs 100k miles $200 deductible yesterday. Currently have 9k miles on my 21 Nacho. Does this sound like a decent quote.

There are a lot of electronics in a modern Jeep. It covers the UConnect Infotainment which is very problematic and expensive.
