I'm not familiar with the beef between you two, but I agree with this statement. The ICE has reached peak power and efficiency, its golden hour. Enjoy it while it lasts because the future will almost certainly not use ICE for passenger vehicles.
Yeah this is not true. It's a complete caricature of what I said, and what I ACTUALLY said is absolutely true. A couple of kid's disagreement with what constitutes a "refresh" does not change that fact. Hell you and your sidekick didn't even know what a torque converter did until I had to explain it to you.

I think this kinda sums it up there @NWJeepr

You still can't point to any frame changes for the 2024 mid cycle REFRESH. A front grill and interior refresh are the only substantive changes. That's by definition a refresh. Stellantis even called it a refresh. No 37s, no frame changes for tire clearance, literally nothing your "inside man" allegedly saw/ showed you. Facts are hard to deal with when they don't align with your inside info but they are still facts.

@NWJeepr this was a fun one - dude was claiming that the 3.6 is putting out a ton more useful torque than the 2.0 because the torque converter is definitely 100% sending virtually all of the 3.6s torque through by 1500 RPM and there's no meaningful slippage of the converter even though it's well under stall and thus the 3.6 is the more useful engine.

He also used to get pretty upset about memes and gif usage and now hes doing it too so there is that
I never got upset about it...I just didn't do it. I have learned that that is your language and it definitely seems to work a lot better when I use it to speak to you. Remember we had this conversation about the way I communicate?

EDIT - i'm sorry, I forgot to add a meme in a response to you:

Another caricature of what I said.

Also, you need to take a hint - NWJeeper isn't interested in your little feud. He even used a meme - your language - to tell you that. No one outside of you, me, and your little group of buddies cares about this.

Aww, come on guys, forgive and forget. Or at least go to counseling together.

Except the part about the 3.6/ torque converter. That sounds pretty far-fetched. Potentially unforgivable. We all know the 3.6 just sucks.

The 2025 Gladiator will come with the 3.6/auto configuration as standard. I’m betting the 3.6/auto will be available in the Wrangler somet during 2025.

I had moved on. Remorseless and yokramer sort of follow me around looking for opportunities to right how they were wronged in their eyes. Whenever they see what they think is an opportunity, the bat-signal goes up (last paragraph of #599) and their buddies show up and turn the thread into a childish meme-fest.

...aaaaand this is why we have to warn new members about them whenever theres an introduction thread.

I don't follow you around. I don't "start it". There's a big difference between debate pertaining to the subject of the thread and "you're wrong like that time two years ago when I disagreed with you!!!". I'm not debating with Remorseless because of what happened in the past. I'm debating with him because of what's happening right now in the thread i'm in. And that's a credit to him - he actually has something of merit to discuss. You don't - which is why I rarely find myself in a discussion with you and when I do it's always about your childishness and not the subject of the thread.
