If you want to upgrade pay attention to the axles. It's tricky to figure out which is which unless you really know what the differentials look like.

The sport came with the M186 front/M200 rear axle.
You can't install a helical LSD in the M200. Nobody makes one.

If you have the M220 rear axle (dana 44) it will be labeled "heavy duty" and it gives you many more options to upgrade down the road.

Skid plates changed?
It seems so. Looking at different brands, there are separate listings for 2018 -2020 and 2021+ skid plates. I don't know what changed? When was the eTorque feature added?

Also, TPMS sensors changed ~mid-2021 model year, and vehicles built after this change (think it was late July/early August) they gained the ability to get an alert when the tire pressure reached a certain point - useful for airing back up.

Can confirm that my 2021 which was built in early June does *not* have this function (and I can't enable it with JSCAN cause it's tied to the TPMS sensors).

Otherwise, as others have mentioned, minimal differences.

And to add to that the Rubicon M210 front and M220 rear are wider then the Sport/Sahara front M186 and rear HD M220.
The introduction of the XR package in 2021 (Addition of Rubicon X as well in 2024) brought in another variable being the extra HD M210 Mojave front diff with heavier tubes, steel knuckles and 4.56 or 4.88 gears. The rear XR M220 also has an extra welded on trackbar riser and higher bumpstop pads. XR packages were only available in the Rubicon and Willys trim.
