Someone take their MOAB to MOAB to see if it can even tackle MOAB. If it can't, you could make some money, because it will be a viral youtube video
This is a great idea and true AF!

I really love my new Moab. Cost did not enter into it. I just bought the vehicle based on how I intend to use it. And yes, I sure do love the looks of it too. I'm 68, not 28 and have no desire to "challenge" rocks and rock waterfalls, or to prove anything. I own all kinds of ATV's, buggies, Harley and for me, they are way more fun than a slow climb up a rock cliff. And around town, the Jeep is so much more fun to drive than my longbed F-250 4 door beast.

Wife and I like to hike, so the Moab will get me to anywhere, any trail head I want to go to. Destination oriented, I have confidence I can get there. Its a third vehicle, just for fun. I tow behind my Bus. Open air, and yes comfort - the old back and knees appreciate a little comfort. Sky one touch too, as I'm sort of lazy and don't want to futz with the tops, but still have the open feel at any time, especially when 500 miles from home and no place to put the top. If I run into snow, (on the way to the 7/11 ) the lockers are a hazard, not a plus.

I also would have opted for a non body color top and fenders too. But can you say "Plastidip"? And I really don't like the tires (noisy), but will use these till they wear out. I don't mind heated leather seats, and that does not make me soft - just old. Har.

I have a commercial wood chipper to push around my property and the select trac has been perfect for the steep areas. I don't need or want the lower gearing of a Rubi. Dont want to tow the extra weight for features I don't use. And as others have said, its amazing where these things can go just in 2 wheel drive. I guess if I wanted to climb rocks, I'd get a purpose bilt rock rail, and go where even a modified street vehicle can't (gauntlet thrown).

This vehicle has the looks, and exactly the chops for how I use it. Jeep hit a home run for me.
Yr right! It will get you to just about any parking lot :cwl:

It's a great looking Jeep but the HUGE turnoff for me is the CV axles up front. Wouldn't want to have that for off roading that we do.
Uhhh standard u joints there broski...

Select Trac has CV joints in the front.

The HMMWV has CV joints... nothing to really complain about in my experience.
