Try comparing the Rubicon similarly equipped to what a MOAB comes with as far as the added options. A Rubicon how I would want it would be less expensive than a MOAB yes, but thats because I'm not springing for the color match hard top or leather or the bigger radio... ect. Load up a Rubi with all the options a MOAB comes with and it will still be more expensive.It’s because in terms of automotive hierarchy, it just doesn’t make sense.
What would people think if FCA had priced the 707 hp Hellcat over $10k cheaper than the 485 hp Scat Pak?
Mass confusion, just like Moab.
