Anyone besides me having problem with Mickey Thompson Baja Boss tires around sharp rocks? I do a lot of trails with rocks and boulders and feel I'm getting far too many sidewall cuts. Yesterday, I had to change a flat on Elephant Hill. I'm running Baja Boss 37 all terrain tires. Over the past 3 years, I've had three warranty replacements for sidewall cuts, now the flat yesterday, and there are a few other cuts on the tires I'm going to need to patch before they open up.
My research tells me that perhaps this isn't the best tire for the wheeling I do and that there are others with stronger sidewalls such as Nitto, etc.
Anyone run into this same issue? thanks
My first time out with the Mickey Thompsons I did get a lot of side wall rock rash, but a good scrubbing seemed to clear it up. Your just Breaking them in LOL. take care.

Honestly too many variables. I have never ran Nitto Trail Grapplers, the Ridge Grapplers held up but chunked up ALOT! I have ran three sets of MT BBAT with no sidewall issues. I run around 12 psi on rock and try to be aware of my tire placement. Just try some Trail Grapplers and see what you think. You can always sell used tires fairly easy and move on if ya hate em! GL!
