Is your rig stock and do you wheel it, and in what terrain?

What offset on the wheels? Your factory wheels will work fine with that tire size. BFG is my choice.

My Jeep is stock. No hardcore wheeling. Mainly a DD with some excursions onto trails.
Those wheels come in 0 and +25. I think I'd go with the +25s.

Check the width on those wheels. If I remember correctly, the 0 offsets are 8.5 wide and the +25 are 9 inches wide. Those tires are the standard tire size, you may want a skinnier wheel with them.

Both the 0 and 25 offset are 8.5" width. The tires are spec'd at 7" thru 10" rim width.
Seems like a good match to me. Am I missing something?

I'd opt for whatever is less expensive, and the BFG if they are priced the same.

Keep in mind that going from whatever your stock offset is (likely something less than 0) and going to a +25 will result in a lot of poke. I think the general rule of thumb is every 6mm of offset is about .25in - so you’d be looking at 1.5 to 2in of poke.

Edit: had my pos and neg offsets reversed! You should be good and will probably sit flush
I have the 703s on 285/70s - 0 offset and they stick out about .5-1in now.

The stock wheels are +44. +25 - +12 are perfect for a flush/near flush look. Anything else starts to stick out..."poke" as some call it. Damn stupid term.

I think stock is about +44 and So +25 will be approx 1" more inward than 0, which I think would be not much poke. ;)
sorry you’re right! Had my number backwards ? and I also didn’t realize you could get Methods in a positive offset!

So, if I go with these, how much are my stock wheels, tires, tpms, worth for a quick sale. Only 2500 miles on them and the tires are Goodyear Kevlar AT. I'm doing all five wheels.

a 285/70r17 tire will definitely be ok on a 8.5 inch width rim...

8.5 +25 is the same offset as the AEV Jl wheels. They are known to cause a bit of rubbing at full flex on narrow track axles (Sport, Sahara, pre-2024 Willys)

If you are only going to run 285 width wheels then that offset is plenty for sport axles. If you habe 12.5 width tires in your future and want to use the same wheel without spacers, you might want to go to the +0 offset
