Hello everyone, I’ve been constantly lurking the forums, watching videos, and looking at different suspension set ups. I’m interested in lifting my 24’ JLURX and would like to get some feedback. My jeep won’t be a daily driver/commuter. Occasionally taken on family trips, errands around town, and trails on the weekends. I’d also like to attempt the Rubicon and Black Bear this year.

I’ve noticed MC is very popular, but I’m curious to know if anyone has experience with the Rock Jock Pro suspension. This is kind of what I’ve narrowed my choices down to: the MC game changer 2.5 or the RJ Pro 3.5. I’m also going to purchase wheels/37’s to go with this.

I’m interested to know everyone’s recommendation and/or opinions if they have one of these kits.

Thanks in advance.

If you haven’t already considered Clayton, you might want to also compare them.

I have in the past, and would still consider them. My only concern is some have said the springs run a little harsh?

Gotcha. Those Fox 2.5 IFP’s look legit.
Definitely, seems like most have been very happy with them. I figure they’ll last for quite a while. Perhaps down the road I’ll get something adjustable.

I can't say enough about my Teraflex 3.5 RT3/Falcon 3.3s.

My car is way better on and off road.

On road, I have almost no body roll, no wander and a very smooth ride. I have had it up in the high 90s several times and it is very stable. When it was stock, 90+ seemed scary.

Off Road it is absolutely phenomenal. It eats up bumps, crawls effortlessly and has pretty good articulation.

It is on 37x12.50x17s.

I have all MC under my Jeep. Running the 4.5 lift. I've driven from Missouri to Utah, California, Tennessee and other places in the Jeep. Drives better than it did stock. Would always recommend the MC lift.

I have a JLR 2dr and can attest they are firm but I’m good with it. My wife on the other hand is not as fond of the ride but she is rarely with me or drives it.

My wife will be driving our Jeep from time to time. I don’t think she would mind a firm ride but I’d rather avoid it if I could. I see Clayton has dual rate coils on the rear only and MC has all four.

Which shocks do you run?

I have the MC 3.5 with the MC shocks. Runs great both on and off highway. I can do 85 on the interstate and do Blackbear pass equally easy. 2021 JLUR diesel on 37.
