Map updates?

In most cars map updates are usually covered for a few years. But dealerships across all brands never seem to have a clue.

What was nice on the Ford sync system was you could download new maps and software versions on CyanLabs, even if Ford didn't release it for your model year.

I purchased my JL new in September of 2018. The Uconnect software updated today except for the map. I checked UConnect‘s website tonight and it states that my map is current. I find it hard to believe they haven’t updated their map in 2 1/2 years. Is that correct?

Map updates must be coming soon. If you chose another Jeep Model (Renegade, Compass, etc), an update IS available. That leads me to believe ours is coming soon.

I hope so, the nav in the jeep is woefully inadequate compared to anything on my phone. for a common 2hr trip we take, the Jeep route is 42min longer
