This is completely unrelated to the recall and to the rest of this thread. Your fault is in the pedal assembly for the clutch.I've started getting the following:
P0806 Jeеp Code -
Clutch Position Sensor
Circuit
Range/Performance.
Haven't seen the recall yet, but guess I'll do some digging.
If it resolves this issue, I’m all for it! ?. FWIW, the screen comes in black or green as well.Hi all,
So this afternoon, got a recall notice for my 22 JLUR 6mt, figured it was for the clutch recall but new one on me Gear Position Sensor recall:

Anyone else get this. As I have never had issues with my backup lights.

Well, isn´t that interesting? A Jeep dealer in Limon, CO just charged me over $800 to replace that part and it was not faulty, although they said it was.Hi all,

Post #2I know yours is a 2022, but does anyone else know how far back this recall goes? I´d love that $820 to find its way back into my wallet.
it looks like that's 2022-2023 only.

Would you mind sharing what symptoms you were seeing? For the record, the problem with my Jeep turned out to be the CANBUS star connector. $22 on Amazon.
Following this thread!
It was throwing 9 to 15 codes related to ABS sensors, service transmission, service start/stop, and other similar stuff. But at no time did it fail to show the correct gear on the dash, which made me question their assessment that it was the gear position sensor. The reason I left it at their dealership in Colorado was because it went into limp mode and indicated (erroneously) that the transmission had overheated. I couldn´t drive more than 40mph. And I could not clear that with my Tazer JL.Would you mind sharing what symptoms you were seeing?
Thanks.
