I tried that once!

It didn't. lol
I'm still just slamming my clutch to the floor to start it. :headbang:
Same issue here. I have to bury the clutch to get it to start, so it’s probably only a matter of time until it won’t start at all. Did you have this fixed and what was the cost?

I had it fixed under warranty!
It was a screw or a nut on the firewall side of the clutch.
Tech tightened it and it was good to go from there.

Good to hear. So it was on the other side of the firewall in the engine compartment?

Yep!
Like right opposite the pedal box. I used to have a picture of the location that I can’t find anymore, but it would be an easy enough check to just verify tightness of all the hardware on the engine side of the pedal box.

Update. After $500 in diagnostics fees, they said it was the starter, and both batteries needed to be replaced. Had to jump it to get it home from the dealership. I took it home, bypassed the auto start/stop feature by pulling fuse 42 and disconnecting the cable from the battery, and it fires up like a champ. They wanted about $3500 at the dealership for the starter and batteries. Gotta love the dealership scam!
