Lost backup camera guide lines

I hate to say that I have this issue now. It just happened tonight. The only thing I did differently is I didn't let the Jeep idle as much as I usually do, before leaving my garage.

I will try and see if it works tomorrow.

After giving up on the dealer where we purchased the Jeep new, I went to another dealer. They replaced the camera and wiring harness in October 2020. Thus far, no problems.

Bone stock 2021 JLUR. So far it’s happened three times, a few weeks back where the screen worked but no lines, a week or so later, black screen, and today another black screen. Tried cycling the engine, opening and closing the tailgate... only time seems to fix.

My screen went black yesterday. I held volume and browse/enter for 30 seconds to reset and it came back

My JLUR has 234 miles on it. Only picked it up 8 days ago and the backup guides disappeared after the first day I drove it home. They have never reappeared yet.

Disheartening to say the least to now discover that this issue has been known for years.

Found a solution on a YouTube video. It fixed my problem immediately.

Press radio power and tune buttons both in for 10 seconds simultaneously. Then turn off jeep and restart. It fixed my missing backup lines immediately after the restart of the jeep.

Mine were back the next morning and no issues since. I have made sure to let it all fully boot before putting it in reverse.

Mine disappeared between trips earlier this morning. I had one more short trip to make this afternoon and they were back.

I couldn't get that to work on my 8.4" screen. Every time i hit the power and tuner button the radio just turned off and never reset.

On my 18 JLUR when I start my it the rear view camera reverse lines do disappear, it rarely happens

I’m not sure if I want the dealer ripping apart my new Jeep. May just live with it off and on.

I have the same issue with my back-up camera guidelines. It is ON and OFF but so far not experiencing black camera screen. I have 2021 High Altitude just a month old.
